Coláiste Dún an Rí offers students the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular debating. Junior students are encouraged to participate in inter - class debating during lunch breaks. Students are encouraged to participate or support their classmates in these debates. Senior students have represented the school in the Concern Debates, debating global justice issues. Debating in both Junior and Senior Cycle offer students the chance to work as part of a team, carry out research and formulate arguments on topical issues.
