Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Coláiste Dún an Rí's website.

Coláiste Dún an Rí was established in 2016 with an enrolment of 68 students and moved to the new school building in 2017. Upon our establishment we made a commitment to aspire to achieve beyond our collective potential. The provision of a state-of-the-art educational campus, the benefits of a highly trained and experienced staff and the support of parents and students have encouraged us to push for excellence in all areas of school life.
We have developed a comprehensive academic and extra-curricular program to help our students achieve in their selected areas of interest. Success in state exams, in sporting areas such as basketball and football and in other areas such as the BT Young Scientist, SciFest and Enterprise Ireland competitions gives an indication of the journey we have taken.
I would like to thank all the students and parents for their support of and commitment to the school since its establishment. As we move in to our second cycle of students, we now have an enrolment of 690 students. In the coming years we will continue to grow and develop in ways that will best meet the needs and wellbeing of students in our care.
