Digital Divide Funding

In 2021 the school was awarded grant funding by the Department of Education and Youth as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). This was supported by the European Union through NextGenerationEU funding under its Recovery and Resilience Facility.

This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to address the digital divide in the following areas
Purchase of laptops to support students with additional learning needs

Purchase of laptops to loan to student where economic disadvantage prevented the purchase of laptops within the home
​
Increasing student access to digital support by upgrading of the school IT infrastructure including servers, Wi-Fi and audiovisual equipment
