Instructional Leadership

Instructional Leadership is a professional development programme which aims to enhance learning and teaching in our schools. It is facilitated by Professor Barrie Bennett, author of ‘Graphic Intelligence’, ‘Classroom Management’ and ‘Beyond Monet’.

Its focus is on varied and engaging teaching methodologies to promote student involvement in lessons. It shows teachers how to encourage accountability in all lessons whilst still providing a safe and welcoming environment for all students.

The proposed introduction of 1 hour classes will allow for a greater use of these new methodologies and provide a more in depth, quality learning experience for our students.
